International Congress

The International Congress, Education in Movement: Immigration, Integration, and Identity can be considered a gathering place for both experienced and emerging researchers, students, representatives of various agencies and institutions, and public policy developers.
Beyond offering a space that welcomes debate on the broad challenges linked to immigration, multiculturalism, and identity, this Congress goes further to dive into topics such as the socio-professional integration of immigrants within welcoming host societies, examining the unique context of both French and English Canadian society. This Congress seeks to play a key role in the establishment of the Africal Research Centre and highlight Afro-descendance within the University of Alberta.
